Pros:

  • Quick charging.
  • Not noisy at all.
  • Very easy to put together.
  • Brakes work really well.
  • Great for beginners.

Cons:

  • Does not fold.
  • Can’t adjust the height of the handle bars.

The best thing about any Pulse Performance Electric Scooter is the charge time. These things fully charge in just 2 hours.

Compared to Razor electric scooters this is amazing, a Razor electric scooter takes 12 to 24 hours to fully charge and give the same ride time of 40 minutes as the Pulse Performance.

If you are looking for a safe electric scooter for kids to use, this is it. It is slow, with a top speed of 10 mph and is very easy to handle.

One of the big flaws with the Pulse Performance is that the handle bars do not adjust. These electric scooters could well be too low down for teenagers to use.

Just like the Razor, the Pulse performance electric scooters do not fold down. If you are tight on storage space at home this could be a problem for you.

Kids really do love the Pulse Performance Reverb, it is a similar price to the Razor E100 electric scooter. In most peoples books, the Pulse Performance Reverb is the better choice.

I don’t know why the Razor E100 is so much more popular than the Pulse Performance Reverb. The Reverb charges so much faster and they are very similar in price.

Pros:

  • Perfect for younger riders.
  • Foot break for easy slow down.
  • Long ride time, quick charge time.
  • Easy to control.
  • Well made, great for boisterous kids to use.
  • Okay for responsible 5 year old to use.

Cons:

  • Handle bars are not adjustable.
  • A little heavy to carry if charge runs out.

If you are looking for the best electric scooter for 5 year old, then this is it. It has a top speed of 8 mph, a little slower than the Reverb and is much easier to control for younger kids.

The big difference between the GTR-11 and the Reverb is not just the top speed, but how the scooter is operated.

The GTR-11 use a thumb controlled accelerator, as oppose to the twist throttle that the Reverb utilises.

The GTR-11 uses a foot brake, the Pulse Performance reverb uses a hand assist brake. The GTR-11 was made for younger kids to use, it is very easy to control.

I should also mention that this Pulse Performance electric scooter is very easy to put together. All you have to do is put the handle bars in place and screw them on there, job done. Replacements parts for this electric scooter are pretty cheap too.

An electric scooter is a sure fire way to get your kids off their XBox or Playstation and outdoors getting some exercise, where they should be.

The only bad point with this electric scooter is that it might be a bit heavy for younger kids to carry, so if they run out of charge away from home, they could be a little stuck.

Pros:

  • Bigger and faster than other Pulse models.
  • Large deck area for max control.
  • Large tires for smooth ride.
  • Easy to assemble.
  • Runs quietly.

Cons:

  • Does not fold down.
  • Too heavy to use as a stand alone kick scooter.

I have to warn parents that this electric scooter is not for younger children. It is recommended for kids aged 13 years and up, it is a great electric scooter for teenagers to use.

These things charge in a few hours and will give a ride time of around 1 hour. Easy to get going, just pull back the throttle and away you go.

The deck is large and will easily fit two feet on there. The deck also has grip tape on, so it will be hard to slip off.

This Pulse Performance electric scooter has very good brakes, they bring the scooter to a gradual stop for safety purposes.

This is the best Pulse Performance electric scooter for off road use, works great across mud, grass and dirt. Will drive well on pretty much all terrain.

The big plus for the XL is how well it is made, it’s not cheap plastic, it holds together well and will take knocks and bumps, it’s sure to last a long time.

Pros:

  • Large deck area, easy to keep balance on.
  • Digital display, shows speed and charge remaining.
  • Easy to put together.
  • Well made.
  • Easy to handle.
  • Really good brakes.

Cons:

  • Not recommended for kids under 13.
  • Quite heavy, could be a problem if you run out of charge.

The Pulse Performance electric scooter Super C is the fastest of the Pulse Performance models with a top speed of 15 mph.

The best detail about the Super C is that it has a digital display, kids are going to find this super cool indeed.

The digital display lets you know how fast you are going and how much charge you have left remaining to ride out.

The front wheel uses a disc braking system, which is super effective. The brakes slow the scooter down steadily for a safe stop.

This electric scooter is really very well made, it is very robust and sure to last even in the hands of the most boisterous teenagers.

It’s certainly one of the best electric scooters that you can buy in the UK and USA today. It’s not the cheapest, but is well worth the price, the reviews are top class.

Final Thoughts

The best Pulse Performance electric scooter for kids would either be the GTR-11 or the Reverb. These are the slowest and easiest to control.

The best Pulse Performance electric scooter for teens and even adults to use would be the Sonic XL or the Super C models. You will also notice that none of these models have a seat attached. If you want an electric scooter with a seat you are going to have to take a look at the Razor and UberScoot models.
